Bolt’s dominance rebuilds athletics’ reputation

USAIN BOLT picked up his second gold medal at the World Athletics Championship yesterday with a dominant performance in the 200m.

This was also Bolt’s second world record of the event, his 19.19sec following a 9.56sec in the 100m.

In any other sport Bolt’s dominance would be boring.

Gender bender row overshadows gold medal

SOUTH African teenager Caster Semenya strode to glory at the World Athletics Championship on Wednesday with a brilliant 800m performance.

Usain Bolt equally dominated the 100m and 200m.

Bolt was immediately lauded as an icon, one of the greatest athletes of all time.
